who is responsible

your email

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address to send a signup confirmation and one notification when persons is ready. We rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Joining is voluntary. You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link or by emailing us; this does not affect processing before withdrawal.

how long we keep it

We keep your address on the persons waitlist until the launch notification or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. The unsubscribe link in our email removes your persons waitlist membership immediately. A limited contact record may remain until the waitlist closes to honour your preferences and prevent duplicate confirmations. We then delete the contact if there is no other reason to keep it. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing us. If your address is also held for another service or purpose, it may remain there under that service’s privacy notice.

who helps us

Vercel hosts the website and handles requests to it. Resend stores the waitlist and provides email services. Migadu receives email you send to our Persons address and forwards it to our Google (Gmail) inbox. Vercel may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site; this is based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing it. Its retention is governed by the host’s settings.

international transfers

Vercel and Resend may process data in the United States. Vercel states that it is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Resend’s data processing addendum includes the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses for applicable transfers. your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or obtain a copy where applicable. To exercise your rights or withdraw consent, email thomas@alwayslatetechnologies.com. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
